You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy for Red Bank Toys for Tots at the Aberdeen/Holmdel SERVPRO location, starting Nov. 13.

ABERDEEN-HOLMDEL, NJ — SERVPRO of Aberdeen/Holmdel will be accepting toys for a Red Bank Toys for Tots drop-off program.

SERVPRO Team Harvey of Aberdeen/Holmdel will provide a collection box at its County Road location.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted from Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 13 to Dec. 13 at its 423 County Road, Cliffwood, NJ 07721 location.

“The ultimate success of the Toys for Tots program depends on the support and generosity of the community. SERVPRO Team Harvey of Aberdeen/Holmdel wants to make it as easy and convenient as possible for community members to donate by providing a safe and accessible drop off spot,” said Lance Harvey, owner/president.

The drop-off box will be provided by the Red Bank Toys for Tots Program, which services Monmouth County, part of Middlesex County, and northern Ocean County, the company says.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season, and to distribute those toys as gifts to needy children.

Community members can participate in the program by dropping off the toys in collection boxes positioned in local businesses.

Once coordinators pick up donations from the drop box location in mid-December, the toys will then be organized and distributed to children in need in time for the holidays.

Though the program’s focus is on helping children, it also serves communities by bringing people together in the spirit of a common goal, said Harvey.

“Toys for Tots brings communities together in support of a common cause, which speaks to the true spirit of the holiday season. Because the heart of SERVPRO’s mission is to serve the community, we look forward to our involvement with Toys for Tots this year and for many years to come,” said Harvey.
