Over the past decade, near-hurricane strength winds, snow, and coastal flooding have pummeled the East Coast, causing widespread power outages, travel challenges, and economic impacts. While extreme storms may not be on the forecast in the immediate future, it's always a good idea to be prepared for one to hit.
