Flooded Crawl Space in Union Beach
Homes near the Raritan Bay are often subject to flooding and foundational damage after a storm. Upon inspecting this flooded crawl space in Union Beach, the SERVPRO team formulated a plan to swiftly remove standing water and mitigate damage to the support beams. Water intrusion had moistened the wood, causing pipes to detach, and a large amount of dirt and debris covered the flooring and cinder-block walls. Our techs were able to enter the crawl space, extract the standing water, dry the remaining space, and perform a deep clean of the space. An encapsulation service helped create an envelope protecting the crawl space from absorbing water. We also addressed any risk of mold growth, as the interior air quality of the home is better when the crawl space is dry. As always, we are here for our neighbors to make it "Like it never even happened."
